2017 The Literary Chicken:
Uneasy lies the head that wears a crown

The wisdom of the chicken: considerable, perennial, abiding, yet often over-looked.

The Literary Chicken Calendar is now in its 11th year. In 2017 the girls take a closer look at the subjects of personal priorities, the interconnectedness of all things, the uncertainty of the future and what it means to exist.  Harper Lee, P.L. Travers, Eleanor Roosevelt and Kurt Vonnegut are a few of the writers whose words help illuminate the wisdom of the chicken in the current edition.

This is a calendar of original images and includes many historic literary dates, poultry holidays and seasonal information from The Old Farmer’s Almanac.  It is a wall calendar printed on acid-free, 8.5 X 11 inch card stock, bound with raffia ties.
